In-Class Writing: Chase Stadium
The Chase Stadium is a great place to go and watch baseball games when you visit or can go. First off, as soon as you get into the stadium you get a rush mix smell of popcorm, hotdogs, cotton candy, etc. The food might be a little pricey, but it is worth every penny. The taste of the food is great! You will never get burned popcorn or a nasty melted ice cream. Second, the stadium is very big and beautiful. The grass is the greenest, the jumbo tron is the clearest, and the people who work there are very freindly with big, bright smiles. Third, what you hear are the best and funniest noises yu can in a baseball stadium. You can hear people making bids on the teams that are playing and bats hitting the ball as hardest as could be. Finally, the best thing to do there is to be engaged with all the rest of the fans. Buying big foam hand to fist pump "We're number one!" out loud or buying the team's hat to put on when you go to a game are the ways to also have fun at the stadium. Reasons why you should go watch a game at Chase Stadium are obivous, if you are looking for a good time I would suggest this place.

In-Class Writing: Metthod of taking notes in class
In my American History class, there are 3 types of ways students take notes. The methods are writing down all the information the teacher gives you, the one where you only write down the most important points of the notes, and the last one would be just to follow along with the teacher and write nothing down. First, the student who writes everything down are the students that can write fast and that are the over achievers of the class. Second, there are students that only write down the important facts about the notes that would be on a test, those students would be the average part in the classroom. This is also because the teacher says it would be better to do it this way so that time is not wasted. Finally, students that think they are the smartest and do not think they need to take notes to review later. There are a few students in my class who do this because they think it is a waste of time to even write down the important facts. For me, I like to write down only key points of the notes so that I can go back later and studying them for a test.
Class Clowns
In every class in junior high and high school, there is at least one class clown that makes everyone in the classroom laugh. A class clown is a student that gets attention through silly behavior, some do it because they like trouble, want attention from there peers, or just because they are bored. First, class clowns can be trouble makers also, they make smart comments to get the teacher mad or annoyed. Making comments like, “My dog doesnt like me doing homework, so he ate it.” Teacher s do not appreciate these comments because they know that you are just saying it to get on the teachers nerves. Second, class clowns might just want attention from their peers so they can look cool. They say things that will be funny to the students they are trying to impress, so they can hurt other students feelings.Third, students can just be a class clown to get out of being bored. These students might be the only ones not doing there work in class, so they crack jokes for their own entertainment. Class clowns come in different shapes and sizes, so it makes it easier to become one.

In-Class Writing: Compare and Contrast
In my perfect world, I would have all the things I have always wanted. Of course money, housing, and romance would be apart of my world. Money because right now I dont even have a job! The only money I get is from my parents. In my world, I would have a job right now, the easiest one possible, and spend money when I please. Also, when I grow up in my perfect world I would get about 60,000 a year after I get out of college and my husband would make at least 70,000 so we would be finaically stable and be able to support a big happy family. Second, Housing is very important for me, even if im only living in a townhouse. My house might not be big, but it is a very welcoming home. In my world, I would have a house near the beach, but not too close because it would be to scary to think something bad might happen. Finally, when Im older I would like to be happy in the romance part of my life. My perfect world include that, having a loving husband and two or three children in my beach side house with all of our money.

Cause and Effect: Friendly Letter
Dear Mom and Dad,
I want to thank you for all you do for me, like putting up with me, taking care of me, and giving me money when I ask (dad). First of all, putting up with me must be pretty easy because I’m the baby of the family. Still, I could be a pain! I know you guys don't like when I don’t listen to you two and still do what I wanted to do. When I slip in school with grades, instead of yelling at me you guys try to understand why I am having trouble. Second, you do your best to take care of me. I do get in trouble sometimes, and Mom, you still get me out of trouble. For example, when I go to a class late, you will call in for me. Third, Dad, I love how you give me money when I need it. Sometimes, in my clubs I have to buy t-shirts or pay dues to it. I like just having to ask you because I will most likely forget the until the night before!
Love,
Rayshelys Barsey
